COUNSELORS & STAFF
Valeria Delgadillo, CMHC Intern
Utah County
As a CMHC intern at Healing Pathways Therapy Center, I am excited to continue growing as a therapist. I originally felt drawn to the medical field, but through shadowing and interacting with patients, I realized something was missing. The fast-paced nature and short appointment times often did not allow people the space to feel fully seen and heard. I have always been passionate about helping others, and that has often shown up through listening, supporting, and being present with people through difficult moments. I believe genuine human connection is one of the most important parts of healing and personal growth.
I really enjoy helping individuals navigate complex relationships, identity, self-esteem, and life transitions. My experience has primarily been working with young adults, college and graduate students, and I value supporting clients through the unique pressures and transitions that can come with those stages of life. I approach therapy with a focus on understanding how past experiences and relationships shape the way we think, feel, and connect with others today. I aim to create a space where clients can build insight, feel understood, and make meaningful, lasting changes.
I have a strong interest in working with couples and relationship concerns, and I am especially eager to support clients in exploring patterns, communication, boundaries, and emotional connection within their relationships. I value creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe showing up as their authentic selves.
As both a therapist-in-training and a bilingual Spanish speaker, I care deeply about helping clients feel seen, empowered, and supported throughout the counseling process. I believe therapy can be a meaningful space for reflection, healing, and growth, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they move toward the life and relationships they want for themselves.
