I understand how it feels to be misunderstood in therapy and to feel like you struggle to connect with a clinician or their approach. My objective is empower my patients to advocate for themselves to find the best treatment method. I commend you for taking this step toward understanding your inner world. Seeking a therapist you connect with isn’t easy, and your willingness to try deserves real recognition.
I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s student at the University of Utah with over six years of experience in mental health care. I’ve supported clients in residential, school, and community settings, and currently work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and issues around identity and masculinity.
I draw from somatic, psychodynamic, and collaborative approaches, rooted in the belief that the “past informs the present.” Using tools from IFS and EMDR, I help you meet resistance inside yourself with tenderness, so it can soften, and you can move more freely toward the life you want.
Difficult events can cause humans to contract, to make themselves small. I aim to help you reconnect with the place within where you feel safe, open to yourself and to others. Knowing that all of you is welcome on that journey. To be whole.
