I believe the pathway to healing looks a little different for each of us even though the human experience is similar in many ways. While we are all connected, we are also uniquely individual with a “fingerprint” of experiences, thoughts, and beliefs. For this reason, I value a strengths-based and wholistic approach to therapy as we consider your strengths and needs. In therapy I may incorporate EMDR, Trauma Focused-CBT, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, or Expressive Arts Therapy. I work from a trauma and attachment-informed perspective for individual and family counseling and have expertise in working with sexual abuse, eating disorders, suicide prevention, anxiety, and depression.

I have been a part of the Utah Deaf community since birth and hold ASL interpreting certifications at both the state and National levels, and enjoy working with Deaf, hard of hearing, Child of Deaf Adult familial disruptions, and navigating deaf child of hearing parent circumstances. I have had experience working with children, teens, and adults but also enjoy working with families and couples. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and value the diverse cultures and backgrounds of all individuals I have the opportunity to work with. I look forward to being a part of your path to healing and finding deeper joy and meaning in your life..
