Martina Bailey, CSW
I believe that people are doing the best they can with what they have at that time. As a therapist, I believe in empowering individuals, couples, and families with tools and skills to face the challenges of life and help individuals reach their potential. I am trained in EMDR, trauma informed care, and inner childhood work to help those struggling with trauma. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, Integrative behavioral couples therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
I help individuals struggling with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I help couples and families who are struggling with relationship problems. I work with Latter-day Saint individuals and other religious denominations who would like to incorporate religion and spirituality into their treatment. I also specialize in working with veterans who are struggling from post-combat military trauma.
Most importantly, I strive to provide a safe and secure environment in order to facilitate healing among individuals, couples, and families. I believe in treating the underlying problems instead of the symptoms. I am a client-centered and collaborate with clients to find the best way to approach and resolve their problems.
