Kimi Bennett, MSW Intern
I believe that everyone has the ability to discover happiness and confidence in their life—and sometimes you just need a little help to find it! The difficulties and sadness that we inevitably face can help shape and challenge us to become better individuals as we find new ways to bring acceptance, love, and health to ourselves and our relationships. My goal is to help clients feel less of the bad and more of the good by giving them tools and encouragement that offer needed support. I have training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and use the basis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I recognize the dignity and worth of a person and advocate for client self-determination.
